Is linen provided? Are towels changed every day?

Towels and bed linen are provided. There is a bath sheet, a towel per maximum sleeping in the apartment. One bath mat per bathroom, 2 kitchen towels. Beds are made on arrival (except the sofa bed whose linen is in the apartment). There is no change of linen during the stay.

Is there a kit in the kitchen?

There is a kit in the kitchen with a sponge, a washer, dishwasher tablets, garbage bags, mop and paper for the toilet.

What are the amenities of the apartment?

Each apartment has a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, a microwave oven, a traditional oven, fridge and freezer 70L, hood, induction hob, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, safe, toaster, Nespresso coffee maker, filter coffee maker, kettle, broom brush, vacuum cleaner, laundry spread, deckchairs. The descriptions of the apartments inform you about the beds. An inventory is given to you upon arrival.

Is it possible to reserve a cot? a high chair?

Yes we can lend you cots and high chairs on reservation depending on availability. We also lend some equipment whatever robot to make mashed potatoes or soups.

Are there any apartments for disable people in wheelchair?

Yes, we have 2 apartments for people with reduced mobility.

Are there smoking apartments?

All apartments are non-smoking. Smoking is also prohibited in the public areas of the residence, in accordance with national regulations.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are not allowed in the residence. If however you come with your pet, it is under your responsibility in case of damage or discomfort of the neighborhood. An additional cleaning may be charged if necessary at departure. It is imperative to report the presence of an animal.

Can we choose our apartment?

Yes depending on availability at the time of booking, by booking directly with us, without intermediary.

What are your opening hours?

We are open every day from 8-12am and 4-7pm and from 7.30am to 7pm on Saturdays during the season.

What time is the apartment available?

Keys are given at check-in between 5pm and 7pm. If the apartments are ready before 5pm, you can dispose of them as soon as you arrive.

Where do we get the keys?

The keys are handed over at the reception of the CHALETS DU JARDIN ALPIN 1 (District "La Legettaz -just after the CLUB MED-).

Is there a deposit due on arrival?

The delivery of the keys is subject to the payment of a deposit of 600 Euros per apartment. This deposit can be paid by credit card (except American Express and Diners), either by cheque. We do not accept currency or Euros in cash.
The deposit will be destroyed after checking out and if all extras have been paid, except in case of breakage or deterioration, and in case of departure outside the reception hours. 

The deposit will be forfeited once the premises have been inspected and all extras have been paid, except in the case of breakage or damage, and in the event of departure outside reception hours.

Until what time can we have the apartment?

The apartments must be vacated at 10am at the latest.

Is there luggage storage if you want to stay at the Chalets or go skiing on the day of arrival and the day of departure?

If you arrive before 5 pm or wish to leave after 10 am, you can leave your luggage in the luggage storage room which has changing rooms and showers. We can also provide free towels. The reception has a lounge area open all day on Saturdays.

In case of late arrival how do we collect the Keys?

If you should arrive after 7pm, please contact us before 7pm by phone or email so that we can explain how to take possession of your apartment.

What should we do on departure?

The apartment must be returned to us in a correct condition, (dishes made and stored, bins out, beds undone), otherwise we would be obliged to charge additional cleaning fees. 

In case of departure during the night or outside the reception hours, how do we do?

If you are planning to leave outside the reception hours, please come and pay your extras the day before. Please leave your apartment keys and remote controls in the mailbox.

What payment methods do you accept?

We take cash, checks, holiday checks, credit cards except American express and dinners. For the deposit, we only take checks or credit cards.

What are the payment conditions for my stay?

When you make your reservation, the payment conditions and the general conditions of sale are available and may vary depending on your reservation and the site on which you book.

What are the fees in case of cancellation?

In case of cancellation, the date of written cancellation will allow the application of the cancellation fee as follows:

- booking at 30 days before arrival: 25% of the total amount.

- 29 to 15 days : 50%.

- from 14 to 07 days : 75%.

- less than 7 days before arrival or no-show: 100 % of the total amount of the stay.

Do you have cancellation insurance?

You have to take your own insurance, we don’t sell it but most credit cards include one if you pay with it. You can check with your bank.

Do you have WIFI?

Yes we have fiber and it’s free.

Is there a ski locker? Boot warmers?

Yes each apartment has a ski locker with boot warmer.

Are the sauna and hammam open daily and paid for?

Yes the sauna and hammam are open every day from 4pm to 6.30pm without appointment and can also be open in the morning between 8 and 12am on request. Access is free and reserved for the residence’s guests.

Is it possible to arrange a food delivery?

You can have your groceries delivered to your apartment in a supermarket in Val d'Isère or elsewhere by informing us in advance. We can advise you on the various possibilities.

Do you have breakfast service?

We offer breakfast at the reception, on reservation according to availability except on Saturday. You can also take advantage of the bakery service and order your bread and pastries that are delivered to the reception the next morning to have breakfast in your fully equipped apartment.

Do you lend equipment such as raclette, fondue or other?

At reception we have on loan equipment such as a raclette machine, fondue machine, crepes party, iron and ironing board, cots, baby chair, blender, electric juicer, pressure cooker, board games, sledges.

Is there a washing machine in the apartment?

The residence has a laundry open 7/7 and 24/24 with a washing machine and dryer. The kit with a washing token, a drying token and laundry is for sale at reception.

Is it possible to book ski passes?

Yes we offer ski passes at reduced prices over certain periods, just ask at the time of booking the apartment to get a package rate including accommodation and packages. They cannot be booked outside a package so after booking the accommodation.

Can we park easily?

Yes, we have a covered parking, with a maximum height of 2.10m right next to the residence. Parking is free in summer and extra in winter. It is best to book it before arrival.

How do we get to the residence?

The residence is located in Val d'Isère, in the district of La Legettaz, just after the entrance of Club Med. It is accessible from Lyon via the A43 motorway to Albertville, then you must follow the Tarentaise Valley through Moutiers and Bourg-st Maurice via the RN90.
The nearest station is Bourg-St-Maurice (30mn) and bus and taxi services can take you to Val d'Isère.

How can one go to the center of Val d'Isère?

On foot, it takes 10-15mn to reach the main street, otherwise free shuttle services operate in Val d'Isère and are completely free.
